I am a thief. I stole this image straight from Dedicated Light and I’m not even sorry. HAHA! Internet piracy rules! Do I even know who operates the site? Pfft! Yeah, actually I do. But did I bother asking for permission? Please! Of course I did. Long time friend, Scott MacDiarmid owns the site and I would never steal from a friend. This particular image is from his Elkhorn Slough gallery and you should check out some of his other outstanding photographs.
I’ve been on the lookout over the past few years to find interesting photographs to use as desktop wallpaper. Let’s face it, the more I’m stuck at a computer the more I want a window to the world that I have never seen. It also fuels that desire to get out and actually see the locations, people, or animals in the images. At the moment, my list of “must visit” locations include (in no particular order):
- New Zealand
Until 2013, I had never been outside the United States. That’s almost embarrassing to admit that it took so long to get out and see the world. Sure, there’s lots to see and experience in the US, but it’s not typically that stark a difference.
