On This Date…

nothing new happened.

Ever have one of those days where it feels like you’re stuck in an infinite loop? No matter what you do to try to escape, it all just keeps repeating. Of course, this isn’t the movie Ground Hog’s Day, so something new happened to get us to tomorrow throughout history. In fact, on this date in musical history (5/28):

1977 –  Bruce Springsteen settled out of court with his former manager Mike Appel. The settlement allowed Springsteen to begin recording again. Without this event, there may never have been a Born in the USA, Tunnel of Love, Human Touch, etc.

On this date in entertainment history:

1998 – Phil Hartman killed by his wife

On this date in science history:

1998 – Dr. Susan Terebey discovered a planet outside of our solar system with the use of photos taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.

Have something to add?
