I’m tired. Exhausted, really. Between travelling and working long days, commuting back & forth to the office down in Corporate Woods, and trying to address any outstanding issues here at home (let alone finagle any personal amount of fun), I’m just struggling to keep my head above water. It’s funny, though, when I think of that phrase, I realize it’s an inexact analogy. I am a river. Does a river need to keep its head above water? No. a) It doesn’t have a head 2) A river doesn’t need to breathe. It just keeps flowing and so do I. Over rock and silt, over sand and root, a river rolls. And so do I. Trees or trash may temporarily block the constant movement, but the water finds a way to proceed. Sometimes it frolics in plain sight for all to see and sometimes it plumbs the depths where only dark things dwell. I, I am a river.

Nice one Toby. It’s close to the original, but I think I like this version better.
There’s a cool bread crumb trail between The Gutter Twins and Foo Fighters. Can you follow it?
Greg Dulli was the only person not named Dave Grohl to play on the first Foo Fighters album. Cool indeed.
