I wanted to do this once a quarter, but my timing is off and it’s past time to check in with everyone to see where they are with their linguistic love. As you may recall back in September there was the Four Favorite Words: Redux post. My current four favorite words are:
Apricity
Entropy
Photosynthesis
Lazarus
The last word is, I’m betting, glaringly obvious why it’s stuck inside my consciousness. The first three are because of the book that I recently finished (more on that in a future post) which is heavily influenced by science. Oh, and speaking of SCIENCE!, there’s this that just came out today. So exciting!

I finally just figured out 75% of the lyrics to that song after all these years, so thanks for posting that.
I had my four words all set just a couple of days ago but now my brain is full of science and a desire to sleep, so I’ll get back to you on that.
Can’t wait to see what you conjure up.
Okay. I’ve buckled down and pulled these beauties from my brain. A couple I’ve been throwing around a lot lately, and two others bring to mind a book I’ve been reading:
Conscionable
Beleaguered
Ignominous
Engender
Totally adding apricity to my lexicon…that’s a great one!
