FitBit Flex

On Wednesday, September 14, 2016, after just 26 steps, Pete Calderone’s FitBit Flex passed away. Affectionately known as “Blackie”, he leaves behind siblings Navy and Powder Blue. He lived a full and adventurous life as he most recently travelled the length of Africa. He will always be remembered for the lasting impression he made with his indentation on my right wrist and accompanying tan line. Funeral services will be closed to the public. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Buy Pete a New Fitbit foundation.

My condolences. Losing a FitBit is never easy, and I commend your acceptance of the loss. I have raised mine from the dead several times, but let it pass for good a week or two ago.

I’m looking at the Alta as a replacement. In the meantime I’m suffering the “Tree in the Forest” syndrome….if nothing counts my steps, have I *really* exercised?
